With more than 35 years of experience in audit quality and performance improvement, William Englehaupt has helped some of the world’s leading organizations, including Accenture, PwC, and KPMG, transform how audits are executed. His work has impacted thousands of audits and more than 20,000 auditors across financial, IT, and operational disciplines.
A certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and former Director in KPMG’s audit quality program, William has led large-scale initiatives focused on standardizing processes, eliminating inefficiencies, and improving overall audit performance. His approach is grounded in real-world application, shaped by years of hands-on experience solving complex challenges inside global organizations.
Earlier in his career, William also served in United Nations peacekeeping operations, where he developed a deep understanding of how to streamline complex systems and lead teams in high-pressure environments. That experience continues to influence his practical, results-driven methodology today.
He is the creator of Auditology™, a proven system built from Agile principles, Lean Six Sigma, and more than a decade of field-tested implementation. Auditology™ is designed to help audit teams run faster, cleaner, and more profitable engagements by removing inefficiencies, reducing rework, and minimizing inspection issues.
